Training Information

Resto ® installers are required to complete a specialised training course. The aim of the course is to provide the trainee with all of the required skills to drive their business. Our experts will provide training in the effectively refurbishment of driveways, provide an insight into marketing and sales development, health and safety awareness, presentation and surveying. Good comprehensive training is of paramount importance in the correct surface preparation and application of protective coatings. Upon completion of the training the trainee will know how to prepare the different surfaces, know what sealers coating to use, know what potential problems need to be avoided, know how to present their services and draw up accurate job costings as well as gain a business insight that will provide a basis to operate effectively and profitably.
* training sessions include a maximum of 5 delegates and are relaxed and informal and include hands on involvement.

You will receive 1 Resto Coatings sales presenter including before and after pictures, a Resto Coatings manual, templates for marketing leaflets, invoice pads and the Resto Coatings approved installer certificate.

Add-on Services

We offer a number of add-on services that may help develop your business. We also manufacture and supply such a vast range products and many are not covered in the standard training. We do however hold regular open days/training days to introduce new coatings allowing you to maximise your knowledge and expand your business services.

  Yes, we have an arrangement with a local B&B just a few minutes away to provide accommodation for £25 per night.

• Are you far from either Belfast International or Belfast City Airport?
  
  We are a 25 minute drive from either airport so flying is a viable option. We are also only a few minutes from Port of Larne if Ferry travel is an option.

• Do I need to wear special clothing?
  
  The only requirement is to wear work shoes with toetectors. Oilskins, wellington boots and old clothes are also recommended.

• Do I need to bring and equipment or tools?
  
  We will supply all the tools and equipment required for the course.

• Are there any extra charges?
  
  No, all our courses include the use of tools and materials, lunch is also included.

• Can I really make good money with this business?
  
  If you are prepared to put in the hardwork we will provide the training and expertise to set you on your way.

• Can we purchase tools and equipment at the training centre?
  
  Yes under no obligation you can purchase equipment at very competitive prices from our training centre. We also provide advise should you need it.

• What is Resto Coatings?
  
  We are the manufacturer and supplier of various coatings. We have our own operators under the brand name of Driveway Restore.

• Is this a franchise ?
  
  This is not a franchise, you will not have to sign any contracts, confidentiality agreements or pay management fees.

• Will there be technical advise after the course?
  
  If you purchase our products, we are always available for product and application advise .

• Is this business profitable?
